Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst - Specialty Pharmacy is an individual contributor role supporting CVS Health's Specialty Pharmacy business unit. This position requires a motivated individual looking to work for an industry-leading Fortune 4 company. This role allows you to gain valuable Financial Planning & Analysis experience within the Pharmacy and Healthcare space. Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include:- Assisting in the development of financial plans and continuously analyzing financial results through budget and forecast models- Performing financial analysis including conducting research, identifying, designing, and implementing applications and tools to fulfill reporting and analysis needs- Preparing weekly / monthly volume and variance analysis - Presenting monthly variance analysis presentations to senior leadership- Taking ownership of the budget and financial forecasting models to present accurate representation of future business performance- Meeting with operational business partners to provide insight into business performance and help influence strategic decisions- Supporting external customers through regular monthly financial reporting- Produce modeling and reporting around new clients/client losses and their impact to current and future results- Performing ad hoc analysis and financial forecasts for the internal management team and external customersRequired Qualifications- 1 or more years of Microsoft Excel experience required (professional or academic), including: experience using functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, etc.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
