Job DescriptionCVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our PBM Finance Enablement team as Program Manager, PBM Finance Strategic Initiatives. As a senior program manager within the Project Management Office, you will lead a major cross-functional strategic initiative that supports PBM Finance and CVS Health. Initiatives could include but are not limited to cross-functional application development / enhancements, end-to-end process improvement, customer implementations, development of reporting, metrics, and analytics, and coordination of the business / operations with IT project management teams. The candidate will be an experienced program / project manager who has managed complex, cross-functional initiatives. Leads program development efforts with key stakeholders to document scope, objectives, requirements, and success criteria Leads design efforts with technical resources for process mapping, architecture / viability, proof of concept (POC) and minimally viable product (MVP) definition Manage scope, budget and delivery throughout the program lifecycle and requests that would impact scope, budget and delivery through review and approval / disapproval Integrates discrete projects / workstreams into a program portfolio that allows effective leadership / steering committee engagement Leads the program level and steering meetings as required to deliver the program Through collaborative sessions creates project plans and integrated program plans that identify tasks, resources, predecessor / successor relationships, durations and critical path Leads working sessions to identify risks, issues, decisions and blockers that may impact this and / or other programs Where applicable, oversees project managers, product managers, business product managers and technical writers assigned to discrete projects / workstreams for large programs Maintains and leads a regular schedule of working meetings (discovery, design, build, test, bug resolution etc...) and program / project review calls Uses agendas, status package, meeting minutes and a RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions) log to support effective program execution Understands the roles of business-side and IT project management in a cross functional program requiring significant technology investment and leverages the resources effectively Develops plan to resolve escalations raised by project teams and / or as noted in the RAID, close items out in a timely and effective manner Delivers projects based on Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches, ability to coach others in these approaches Works with business on process for intake, support process and prioritization of scope and / or changes Develops subject matter expertise if engaged in multiple project engagements across a common platform Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders across the PBM and IT Provide feedback from program engagements on what works well and opportunities for improvement Works with enablement leadership to discuss, prioritize and implement improvements around governance, processes, tools and reporting for program /
