Job Description-Supports the business by recommending appropriateactions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet businessneeds typically tied to a key Aetna Medicaid practice- Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of apractice, program or group of projects such as planning, configuration and deliverables and due dates are met.- Highly collaborative process often requires managingrelationships across organizational segments or multiplefunctional areas.- Develop and implement strategic business plan toachieve business goals.- Identify gaps and recommends enhancements related tonew and/or existing business, services and workflowsbased on broad view of the organization.- Collaborate and partner with other functional managers,other business areas across/within segments or otherbusiness areas to ensure all process, automation andinterdependencies are identified and addressed.- Consult with constituents (internal, external, andregulatory) to scope/define practice or program work.- Influence change in order to improve performanceresults, organization effectiveness and/orsystems/quality/services.- Obtain financial support for practice and programs;support this work as it relates to program management.- Collaboratively work across multiple functions and /orsegments to obtain agreement from all stakeholders- Manages staff (internal, external, matrixed)including SMEs and analyst- Responsible for resource utilization within and acrosswork teams.- Responsible for the unit budgets and/or financialimplications of project and or program.Required Qualifications5 - 8 years management experience orimplementation experience related to technology,systems, and processes including project consultation. 5 years industry specific experience. Prior positions that required setting team direction. Proven track record meeting project dates andnegotiating for resources.
