Marketing Specialist

A123 Systems, LLC is a leading developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion cells, batteries and battery systems for the Transportation-, Energy Storage Systems- and Commercial application market. Responsibilities Work with the North American- (NA) and European (EU) sales organizations and support go-to-market strategies with product, customer, competitor and market analysis Collaborate with regional sales leaders to ensure marketing activities are aligned with organization needs and goals Identify growth opportunities, related market size and shares, technology and pricing analysis Define, establish and support the implementation of marketing content strategies and tactical plans to promote A123 technologies, products and system solution Adapt messaging across multiple marketing channels - social media, website, messaging (b2b, b2 retailer, etc.) Manage A123 website, corporate branded documents, public documents Identify and prepare exhibitions, symposiums and conferences A123 to participate Prepare press releases, public speeches and roadshows in collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Program Management departments to thrive A123 brand awareness Develop solutions for product animation and promotion Specific Skills/ Abilities Proven ability to manage effectively multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with social media tools Ability and interest to learn and understand technical product / technology portfolios Technical aptitude, creative, structured approach Creative thinker, capable and comfortable with generating innovative ideas Able to use effective oral communication to present ideas and explain material to a variety of audiences Experience within automotive, energy storage and transportation industry Knowledge of energy storage technologies, especially lithium-ion batteries welcome Education/Experience Experience creating marketing materials and programs Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related discipline Min. of 5+ years sales or marketing experience
