Job DescriptionFully remote position open to candidates located in the state of LouisianaWorking hours will be Monday-Friday 8-5PMHolidays may be required per the needs of the departmentNo weekends or travel will be requiredPosition is for Licensed Mental Health Professionals (active licensed in LA) to staff Aetna Better Health of Louisiana's Crisis Call Center as a part of the upcoming 2022 LA State Implementation of the new Crisis Services System to respond to all behavioral health crisis needs of members. This includes crisis counseling, de-escalation, dispatching of mobile crisis/EMS/police, post follow-up calls, linkage and/or referral to services, and tracking of disposition and outcomes of crisis response duties including but not limited to the following:- answer, engage, and assess member calls related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder- Triage calls related to clinical assessment of risk- Understand and apply principals and guidelines related to ensuring safety of members- Utilize clinical skills to determine action plan to address member concerns- Provide support, linkage, and referral to plan resources and outside community agencies and services as indicated- Track and record outcome and disposition of callsRequired Qualifications- 6+ years of community mental health work experience with individuals struggling with serious behavioral health and substance use issues- 3+ years experience involving assessing, triaging, and managing behavioral health crisis health situations and/or calls utilizing national recognized best practices- Unrestricted and active state of Louisiana license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
