If you're interested in joining an integrated, collaborative health care team and sounds like something you want, then we have a place for you As a Lead Director for Continuous Improvement, you will report directly to the Head of Automation and Continuous Improvement for the Mental Health Parity (MHP) business team. The Lead Director for Continuous Improvement supports continuous improvement efforts within the Mental Health Parity team and across the Mental Health Parity ecosystem. We not only working on our own Continuous Improvement needs, but feel it's important to include our business partners as it helps us all be more effective while minimizing compliance risk. The Mental Health Parity (MHP) business team is responsible for responding to state reporting, Department of Labor (DOL) audits, and customer requests regarding compliance with MHP regulations . We work in a highly matrixed environment spanning the enterprise. The outputs are highly complex requests that are heavily data and process dependent to complete - we work with 25+ business areas to complete this work. The Lead Director for Continuous Improvement will focus on continuous improvement activities as well as influence the creation of reporting capabilities and tools to support and automate this work. This is a position where you can solve problems and get things done Our ultimate goal is to fix the right problems, at the right level, with the right solutions.Additional responsibilities of the Lead Director for Continuous Improvement include:- Create business cases, return on investment (ROI), conduct cost benefit analysis and craft business solutions with experience in planning, assessing, and successfully implementing change in complex organizations- Individual Contributor role, but will be responsible for decision making, consensus building, motivating others and giving and accepting feedback- Collaborate with vendor resources and present to executive leadership- Develop and support cross-functional initiatives that improve operational and cost efficiency- Facilitate events and working sessions with multiple stakeholdersRequired Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of experience using Six Sigma methodologies - 5 years or more of leadership experience- At least 8 years of Project Management and/or Program Management experienceCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree preferred- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification- Experience with several of the following methodologies: Six Sigma, management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, data analysis, quality management, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting, organizational redesign- Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexity- Deep working knowledge on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools including Value Stream Design, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Standard Work, Visual management, Process mapping, and Change Management and Project Management tools- Deep working knowledge of critical system and technology tools including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint- Healthcare and/or Health insurance industry experience is highly desired- Understanding of business operating model and operational knowledge of business aligned to- Critical consulting skills include customer focus, relationship building, leading without authority, flexibility, listening and translating and collaboration as well as teamwork- Professionalism and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and flex to meet the work demand- Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with and influence decision-making by non-analytical business audiencesEducation- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is requiredBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS HealthEvery one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
