Sr Analyst Supply Chain - Last Mile Team

Job DescriptionSummary: This position is responsible for supporting the management of carrier and courier vendor agreements that support last mile transportation from the Retail Pharmacy network to end customers and handle any issues or concerns regarding quality of service. Responsible for assisting the CVS Procurement team in the transportation courier services RFPs, negotiations, contract development and expense inputs, including transportation rates and billing. Serve as departmental liaison between various business partners and operations management within the organization regarding carrier/courier service needs. Responsibilities also include a lead role within the freight audit, carrier/courier invoicing process and managing vendors to established service SLA's.Key Responsibilities: Assist with identifying potential RFPs and negotiating new rates for cost savings opportunities Manages communication between carriers/couriers, pharmacy operations, and various CVS personnel regarding pick up, cancellation, and schedule changes to ensure clarity and timeliness of communication Resolve all discrepancies regarding billing and courier invoicing payment process Assist in the management of freight audit administration and reporting Define and analyze performance metrics on a weekly/monthly basis. Collaborate with key stakeholders adding efficiencies to delivery process that will drive down total spend and improve customer experience Identify cost savings opportunities for pharmacy delivery (On-Demand, Same-Day, and 1-2-Day) Oversee transportation needs supporting pharmacy delivery program Escalate/resolve issues from Pharmacy Operations and Center of Excellence teams with carrier/courier account managers Meeting facilitation, document & distribute meeting notes (including delivery provider quarterly business reviews) Support special projects involving small parcel transportation, such as carrier/courier on-boarding and system platform integration Maintain and publish pharmacy delivery reporting Ensure unused label refund is submitted to Electronic Verification System (USPS) weekly and track recouped cost Take a lead role in final mile innovation projects, such as autonomous BOT's and Drones Leverage freight auditor web-portal and internal analytics tool to develop insights on pharmacy delivery KPI's to drive service and cost savings opportunities Contribute towards engagement efforts within the final mile team Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems Proficient in MS Office applications Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, written and verbal Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives to maximize the business impact Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, confidence, and attention to detail Proven track record for constructing and presenting data to support recommendations and project objectives Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive decision-making and consensus across all levels within the organization Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply sound business judgment Ability to develop and implement sustainable processesRequired Qualifications 1+ years of experience in corporate setting and demonstrated organizational/project management skills 1+ year of demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and independently solve business problems 1+ year of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 1+ year of experience with project managementCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
