Job DescriptionIn support of the Medicaid Encounter Department, candidate must be SQL power user, able to review results, conduct root cause analysis, identify next steps and put them into action. Candidate should have the ability to move multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results; even when others are directly accountable for the outcome. Familiar with HIPAA transaction sets, claims processing and encounters is a plus. They key objective of this position is leading the creation of automated reporting solutions in Tableau, Excel, etc. Develop analysis and reporting that drives insights and action for terpersonal skills and ability to present complex data analysis to a non-analytic audience. Experience creating report and dashboard designs that tell a story with the data. Ability to establish collaborative relationships with analytic and non-analytic business partners. Define test cases and coordinate User Acceptance testing to test accuracy of reporting solutions. Conduct appropriate testing of analytic solutions to ensure results are consistent with business requirements or defined need. Support the research of end user tickets by promptly identifying and resolving reporting issues. This position is not a management role and will not require overseeing direct reports.Required Qualifications- 2 - 4 years of experience with SQL Server as Power User for coding, troubleshooting and modifications.- Experience with databases as well data analysis, interpretation, and manipulation of data.- Experience with code automation (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, SSIS)- Experience with data visualization (Tableau)- Experience with all phases of design and execution of evaluation studies, including defining the research question, identifying data sources, evaluating data quality, performing descriptive analytics, univariate, and bivariate analyses, and identifying and controlling for the impact of covariates- Emphasizes clear documentation and writes code that is readable and reproducible- Identifies opportunity for process improvement and strives to simplify overly complex processes- Contributes to data warehouse enhancements by investigating opportunities for inclusion of new data sources, identifying, and facilitating correction of data quality issues- Responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables- Expertise in data storytelling and preparing data for presentation in Excel and Power Point- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to both technical and lay audiences- Makes recommendations about data collection methods, metrics definition and evaluation methods.- Presents analytic reports to clients and stakeholders- Ability to collaborate with multiple business partners to understand their goals, translate business needs into technical requirements, and act as a consultant in developing solutionsCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
