Job DescriptionThis Lead Solution Strategist (aka Lead Analytics Consultant) in the Retail Analytics & Behavioral Change (A&BC) unit supports Analytics Engineering (Retail), specifically some areas within Pharmacy Growth/Minute Clinic/ EPIC/Front Store/Business Intelligence/Reporting areas and works with various CVS Health business teams and cross-competency teams completing tasks related to business solution planning and strategizing, business case development, documenting and managing business requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, this individual will work collaboratively with business representatives, Project Management and various IT teams to develop and implement the specific technology and architecture necessary to deliver business solutions.Required Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of analytical expertise within the Retail /healthcare industry along with experience in Data Analytics, Application Integration System Architecture of Large Data Warehouses, Information management strategy/data management strategy; Dimensional Modeling experience, Physical Database Design experience and creation of Semantic Layer Experience managing large projects and interaction with Business Users, Business and IT Leaders and IT technical staff. Experience working directly with business partners or clients in developing data use cases and business process mapping Data analysis and analytical skill, reporting tools experience (eg, Microstrategy or Tableau), strong SQL skills, working knowledge of at least one data lake access language including but not limited to Java, Python, Scala, etc. Analytical assessment experience to propose data roadmap for data lake and/or data warehouse depending on the business application as well as process improvements within existing systems. Experience in building analytical tools that support data scientists and/or the every-day business user and understanding the different data needs by end-user type 7+ years of IT/Business leadership in Business Analysis, Project Management experience 7+ years' experience in the project life-cycle - including business planning, data analysis, data modeling, data quality, data mining, process analysis and design, business, and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, testing Flexibility to work within varying project management frameworks, including Agile/SAFE; Ability to adopt hybrid model 5+ years' experience working in dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodology; Adept at leading and motivating virtual teams Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze and document complex business processes, work on multiple programs on data pipeline enhancements and the Data warehouse conversion.
