Job DescriptionAetna Medicaid Administrators LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Phoenix, AZ: Sr. Informatics Analyst to design, model, and implement data management and information systems for Aetna's Medicaid Business unit. Duties include: manage the information systems used to transfer Medicaid claims data to State agencies and verify the accuracy and quality of warehouse data; implement and monitor data extraction procedures from internal systems, analyze the data for discrepancies and correct as required, and send files to meet compliance obligations; review EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) files and validate for inconsistencies and syntax errors, and correct EDI files when required using complex SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages; design and implement database structures and manipulate data using Microsoft SQL Server, QNXT, Edifecs, Remedy, ServiceNow, ClearQuest, Excel, and X12 Transactional Files; update applications and perform system maintenance to support new business implementations; extract data from multiple sources to create integrated analytical datasets and dashboards and present information to management on trends, key metrics, and regulatory compliance. Telecommuting available.Required QualificationsMaster's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Application, Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in each of the following: SQL Server using advanced SQL coding; SQL Server Integration Services; Remedy/change request system; ClearQuest defect management and tracking; SQL Server Business Intelligence Studio; Microsoft Excel power user; and Microsoft SQL server and SSIS ETL tool.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
