Job DescriptionThis position will be focused on National Quality Management HEDIS Data Strategy and is responsible for in-depth data analytics and reporting in support of various HEDIS reporting projects and initiatives. This position is expected to:- Serves as a resource and subject matter expert (SME) on aspects of the HEDIS Data Strategy to develop and influence business strategies- Accountable for health care quality projects and initiatives through direction setting and leadership- Proactively serves as a mentor and builds strong business relationships- Support our HEDIS Center of Excellence Market Management Teams by providing ongoing HEDIS rate reporting and analysis - Design and conduct analyses and outcome studies regarding the impact of various initiatives and projects. -Analyzes complex data for trends, highlights in-depth interpretations and provides in-depth root cause analysis.-Performs quantitative and qualitative data analysis and converts the results into meaningful business information, reaches conclusions about the data and provide recommendations-Researches, manipulates and prepares complex data to document program activities and reports on its results.-Influences changes/enhancements to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and access. - Provide business expertise to define, develop and provide information and analysis to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers. -Actively seeks opportunities for process improvement resulting in efficient and effective work streams- Develops and conducts presentations and consultations to existing and prospective customers and internal business areas. - Illustrates complex information in a clear concise manner.Required Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in healthcare related to HEDIS and Stars including full understanding of technical specifications, NCQA and CMS requirements- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or managed care quality management- 5+ years of data interpretation and analysis experience.- Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams at all levels of the organization as well as external partners- Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability- Successfully navigate and manage simultaneously competing priorities to meet business needs and deliverables- Ability to build trust and respect of internal and external key stakeholdersCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
