Job DescriptionCVS Health is looking for a talented and agile leader to enhance our understanding of marketing effectiveness and consumer behavior. The Senior Manager of Data Science will join the Marketing and Growth Analytics team, which supports a facts-based decision-making process in measuring marketing initiatives across the retail front store, pharmacy and clinic businesses. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of data scientists in optimizing media investments to drive short-term and long-term growth online and offline. The ideal candidate will have an advanced analytics background with experience in media mix modeling and other advanced analytics. Experience in retail or healthcare is preferred.This position is a fully remote opportunity with the key responsibilities: Lead, coach and mentor a small team of data scientists Oversee the development of marketing mix models that deliver insights and enable optimization of media investments Devise robust marketing measurement plans in collaboration with Marketing, Media and agency partners Analyze performance marketing data to understand customer journeys, identify marketing opportunities and recommend media optimizations Partner with stakeholders to develop analytic solutions that address business questions and drive strategy Recommend and execute analytic solutions that enable a more complete understanding of customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value Develop dashboards and reporting solutions to increase business access to data and insights Review and approve methodologies used for advanced analysis projects and provide input into tool selections Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences Ensure team stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies Manage the review and update of internal procedures to ensure quality and efficiencyRequired Qualifications 6+ years of relevant analytic experience 6+ years experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, and Tableau Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years working in analytics with a track record of delivering insights and impact; Master's degree or equivalent in analytic discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience; or a PhD and 1+ years of relevant experienceCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
