Job Description Hybrid - Must be able to commute to Woonsocket, RI when needed The RXConnect Release and Change Manager applies technical, project management, and high leadership skills to implement new applications, and upgrade existing ones in support of RxConnect. The position plays a strategic role in bringing continuity and standards to the implementation process and delivering quality business needed solutions across a variety of platforms and operational environments Candidate must be able to work nights and weekends to support the business needs.Required Qualifications5+ years of IT experience. 3+ years exposure with multiple components of information technology infrastructure, including multiple operating systems, distributed systems, Web-centric architectures, various hardware components (servers, disk and database), network infrastructure components, systems management tools and database management systems3+ years exposure to operational experience across the following: UNIX, Windows, Database Administration, Networking and Middleware.Strong project management skills, including large scale open systems and distributed implementations.Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFull understanding of the RXConnect infrastructure and all of its components and child systems. Strong problem solving skills: innovation, collaboration, risk/benefit analysisPrior software implementation experience including configuring environments for application migrationAn in depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and solutions development from the drawing board to production delivery, including experience with troubleshooting scenarios in production environments Maintain deep understanding of product ecosystem and its interdependencies and leverage various tools available for environment management & stabilityBuilds consensus and leads decision making through nebulous problemsAct as a gatekeeper, ensuring that all cross-functional teams sign off on the release before each promotion to production. Identify & manage risks and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders while proposing solutions. Effectively communicate required delivery dates, deployment pipelines, and releases for project activities. Be involved in code deployments, data base synchronization, and DevOps best practices.Problem solving and root cause identification skills.Experience with one or more CVS Health methodologies such as Agile.Understands and follows the CVS SDLC, Agile and all Enterprise Methodology.
