Job DescriptionThe Business Continuity Analyst role will be responsible for implementing Business Continuity planning efforts for select business units operating across CVS Health. The individual will work closely with business leaders to coordinate all Business Continuity functions including but not limited to Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) development, Site Incident Management plan development, maintenance, and exercising. The role will support business units during times of crisis and interface with additional shared service partners as needed during business disruptions. The position reports to the Manager of Business Continuity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills.Responsibilities include:tSupport and coordinate Business Continuity planning efforts with a major focus on conducting Business Impact Analyses and developing Business Continuity Plans for critical business unit functions and enterprise resiliency.tDevelop and complete Site Incident Management and preparedness plans.tInitiate immediate course of action against significant events in various size and scale of impact (hurricane, social unrest, pandemic) by supporting business units during large scale crisis events.tDevelop working knowledge of program tools and associated skills to train business partners with appropriate skills to support role. tFacilitate Business Continuity training and awareness for business leaders in all functional areas.tFacilitate meetings, mock/simulation exercises, and emergency notifications related to the execution of Business Continuity Plans.tPerform program and project activities as assigned by Manager.Required Qualificationst6+ months of work experience in business continuity and/or emergency management; preferably focused on pre-planning, exercise planning and testing and/or recovery planning.tAfter hours and weekend work may be required during emergency situations to support situations reported from key risk areas. Ability to support large scale disasters like wildfires, hurricanes, pandemics.tSome travel is expected 5-10%.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. PC and Database skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word etc.). Ability to communicate with management across the organization. Excellent project management skills. Excellent analytical skills and oral/written communication skills. Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment both independently and in a team setting. Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
