SAP Functional Architect

Job DescriptionThis SAP role is to understand CVS's materials, warehouse, inventory, distribution, and procurement processes and translate them into SAP based solutions. In this role you will be responsible to lead projects, and ensure completeness and accuracy of project documents, following CVS's project management procedures.Primary Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on CVS's SAP Logistics projects. Ensures solutions are properly architected and designed, and partners with the project manager to ensure quality Provide subject matter expertise for core processes, including production planning, MRP, product costing, demand forecasts, strategic procurement, and shipping Refine and validate end-user requirements, determine feasibility, and provide recommendations Provide user education for business process design and improvements Design test cases and business use case scenarios Configure SAP according to business requirements Ensure system integrity through adherence to configuration & change request processes as defined within SAP Solution Manager Follow best business practices within the CVS community. As a project functional/configuration lead, establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between software usability and performance using a complex suite of products and system interfaces including mobile device scanning, web interfaces, MQ, APIs, and file exchanges. Provide day to day SAP configuration support primarily to Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), Inventory Management (IM) and Strategic Procurement (Ariba). Provide training and knowledge transfer, for cross training purposes, to other members of the IT team. Lead project teams in support of upgrades and assist in continuous improvement efforts on all platforms, including SAP ECC, SAP PIPO, SAP BW, and SAP S/4 HANA. Will be required to do some travel and off shift hoursPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75000Maximum: 167000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
