The CVS Health retail team is looking to hire a talented Senior Data Scientist to support the Supply Chain business. Our team uses cutting-edge technologies and tools to build scalable, efficient machine learning and optimization pipelines that are capable of tackling problems at the scale of our retail supply chain. As a Senior Data Scientist, your role will entail: Developing, prototyping, and refining robust and scalable machine learning and optimization solutions to business problems in support of the CVS Health Supply Chain. Seeing projects through from inception to production. Working with a wide range of problem domains, including time-series forecasting, classification, regression, clustering, and network optimization to name a few. Coordinating regularly with technical teams (Analytics, Data Engineering, IT) as well as non-technical business stakeholders and senior leadership. Collaborating closely with business partners to identify new use cases, perform root-cause analyses, support decision-making, and gain insights from data. Accountability, work with a sense of urgency, possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills, and have passion for developing high-performing analytics solutions Develop and present meaningful and insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations and go forward planning to guide a variety of audiences including internal stakeholders and senior leadershipPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75000Maximum: 167000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience programming in SQL and Python Experience building machine learning and/or optimization models Strong knowledge of the underlying mathematical and statistical principles that are foundational to data science Experience building and utilizing a robust experimentation framework (e.g., A/B testing) to measure performance of deployed models Ability to communicate technical concepts and implications effectively to non-technical business partners Experience working with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau) High energy and a sense of urgency to deliver results, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines. Knowledge of Git for version control.
