Job DescriptionAs a Design Onboarding Coordinator within the Digital Design Operations team at CVS Health, you will be part of a growing team of digital innovators and user experience professionals who help people manage their health by researching, designing, and building experiences that improve their access to health care. Digital is a highly energetic and collaborative team that operates as a startup within the CVS Health enterprise.The Design Onboarding Coordinator (DObC) is essential to ensuring that the Product Design team has the right processes and tools in place to enable smooth onboarding for new hires, maintain essential colleague and hiring data, and help Managers navigate onboarding tasks. The DObC is a primary point of contact for all levels of Design manager in the org, as well as a close partner to our operational colleagues in the Digital Colleague Experience Office (DCEO): collaborating on onboarding process improvement, looking for opportunities to streamline administrative tasks associated with the onboarding flow, and maintaining a roster of colleague data and hiring/req information. A great candidate will understand how to map an E2E onboarding flow, identify opportunities for efficiency and simplification, and consolidate and take on those tasks that are non-essential for Managers to complete. This role will also be responsible for partnering with our Design Training and Development Specialist to develop a standard Design Onboarding session, and will approach the role with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a seasoned project and workflow management perspective.By consistently improving our onboarding process and owning many of the onboarding tasks for the design managers, the DObC enables managers to focus their time on the health and development of their designers, enabling the upscaling of design teams who create products that help our users on their path to better health.Core responsibilities: Own any Onboarding tasks that are non-essential for Design Managers to complete Partner with the DCEO to align on and improve onboarding processes related to Digital and Design colleagues Partner with the Product Offices to maintain information related to hiring ramp, req approvals, and open roles Update and maintain data hygiene of our Design People Roster, including information regarding new hires, offboards, req and hiring data Collaborate with design leadership to source feedback on our onboarding experience and make onboarding process and checklist improvements; identify opportunities to consolidate steps and improve efficiency Collaborate with newly hired colleagues to learn about opportunities for onboarding experience improvement, gather data for development of standard onboarding session Partner with the Design Training and Development specialist to create a standard onboarding session for all Design Hires with clear links to craft and role-related development pathways Contribute to the update and maintenance of internal Design distribution lists Partner with the FITOps Tools team to manage tools onboarding and offboarding for new and departing colleagues Produce documentation, templates, and artifacts related to onboarding standards for use by our Design ManagersPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75000Maximum: 167000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience managing the onboarding experiences of a variety of roles in a high-matrix environment 3+ years experience producing SOPs or documentation related to standard operational best practices Experience in e2e workflow analysis, process improvement and change management with a large and varied stakeholder audience Skilled in stakeholder management with various types of layers/roles including leadership, product and financial offices, and user experience professionals (creative directors, UX designers, product/visual designers, copywriters, researchers).
