Job DescriptionAs a Manager, you will be part of the Client Services (PBM) Quality team. This team is engaged across multiple functions including the Testing Center of Excellence, with particular emphasis on solving problems, process improvement, and increasing automation within the team. You will have the opportunity to use your technical and logical skills as part of a new initiative to develop and test a fully automated end-to-end testing process for Clinical formulary and utilization management changes. You will also work closely with internal and external partners on other key strategic initiatives, including identifying opportunities to increase internal process efficiency, providing guidance and support to clients on business process validation testing, and developing key project management skills for large client implementations. Through this, you will develop a thorough understanding of the business and the associated testing requirements needed annually to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.Your main responsibilities will include working with business owners to identify and document user stories, developing and executing unit and integrated test cases for validating system functionalities, and ensuring that the new automated platform maintains the high level of quality exhibited by the Client Services Quality Team. You will work in a unique, integrated model where you will be embedded with a team of developers to provide real-time testing to guide development of functionality and ensure that any defects are resolved as quickly as possible. To do this, you should have significant experience in drafting highly detailed and technical test scripts. In addition, you will collaborate with other members of the Client Services Quality team to ensure that all manual testing efforts are maintained, if not exceeded, by the outputs developed through the new automated platform.As part of the team, you will also work with systems such as RxClaim (AS400) and Salesforce, including developing and executing excel-based macros for testing purposes, leveraging APIs for data transfer between systems, and analyzing large datasets for various levels of reporting. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications4+ years of experience with software development lifecycle, including user story and test case/script development, test execution, and defect management3+ years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably supporting large client implementationsProven track record of working directly with business partners to understand workflow and analytic requirements, present findings and offer solutionsExcellent problem solving skills to troubleshoot testing issues (e.g., test data, code functionality, workflow management) and potential impacts.Experience working directly with other testing resources, and business and IT counterparts to design and deliver sound business solutions and system functionalityCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
