Wireless Test Engineer Job Description NETGEAR Inc. is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Junior Engineer to become part of our RF/Wireless team. Job Qualifications As a Wireless Test Engineer, you will participate in, Wireless product testing in a Controlled Wireless Environment. Wireless product testing in Real-world conditions. Using tools like IXIA Chariot, Iperf and others Creating Wireless test reports using Microsoft Office and other SW tools Participating in making wireless testers The following qualifications are mandatory for all candidates: BSEE or MSEE with a GPA 3.0+ Broad understanding of telecommunications and wireless/cellular systems. Good understanding of TCP/IP. 1-3 years academic plus professional experience. Excellent verbal and written skills. The followings skills are also highly desired and are considered a plus: Good understanding of one or more wireless standards: WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be/ad/ay), 2G, 3G, 4G, DECT, WDCT, BT, Zigbee & Z-wave. Knowledge of Broadcom, Qualcomm, MediaTek & Realtek WiFi Chipset Basic Soldering skills. Experience with basic wireless test equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Vector Network Analyzer, RF High Impedance probes, Function Generators, Oscilloscope & Multi-meter. Experience with NI Labview, Microsoft Office, Omnipeek & Automation Anywhere.
