Job DescriptionResponsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations which support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid population and the community. Identifies opportunities to partner with community organizations on special events and presentations (i.e., health fairs and community events) to heighten awareness of Aetna's name. Develops, facilitates, and implements outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations to increase awareness of the health plan's presence in the community. Seeks out and secures event sponsorship. Responsible for event logistics including reserving space, communication, distributing materials, facilities support, and other similar activities. Seeks out and secures event sponsorship. Monitors and/or participates in the preparation and tear down for the event. Distributes educational information to members by most appropriate method. Gives individual or group presentations to potential sponsors and members. May conduct new member orientations. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community contacts. Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state's laws and regulations. Identifies potential resources and initiates collaboration with providers to improve member health outcomes and HEDIS measures. Provides recommendations and status updates to the department management team as required. Produces and maintains a community events calendar to assist the department with community and member awareness. Makes outbound calls to members to provide assistance in obtaining services and improve member health outcomes. Develops and maintains member incentive programs to support HEDIS initiatives. Documents member participation in outreach activities in accordance with abstraction and audit standards. Performs other duties as required.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 19.52Maximum: 38.99Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsMinimal overnight travel may be required.Valid driver's license in good standing and access to a reliable vehicle required.Ability to work independently and travel alone.Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
