Find your future with us.Job DescriptionThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a MQ-25 Vehicle Management Systems Associate Software Engineer to join the MQ-25 Software Systems group located in Hazelwood, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organizationJoin the MQ-25 Vehicle Management Software engineering team to help provide new capabilities to the Navy. Position includes embedded software requirements development, design, documentation, coding and testing for a new autonomous unmanned aircraft.Position Responsibilities:Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systemsDevelops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software systemAssists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are metSupports software project management and software supplier management functionsSelects, tailors and deploys processes and tools; establishes metricsPerforms software research and trade studiesTroubleshoots software issuesWorks under general supervisionSecurity Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/ Experience):Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start)1+ years of Real-time embedded software development experiencePreferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):Prior Vehicle Management System software experience preferredDO-178, MIL-STD-882E, or similar software safety experience preferredAda programmingTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
