Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the specialty pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact role and positively impact the lives of others. Responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. Additional responsibilities include resolving and entering incomplete prescriptions after clarification is obtained including functions not limited to production, shipping orders, refill reminders, inventory control, customer service & prior authorization statuses. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focused service, team orientation and problem solving abilities. Our CarePlus Specialty pharmacy specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases. This pharmacy technician will focus on assisting with walk-in clients, make refill calls, set up deliveries to patients, answer phones, as well as process, fill and ring out prescriptions. In addition, this technician will work closely with others to process prior authorizations and appeals. Other duties and responsibilities may be required.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 17.02Maximum: 27.16Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
