Job DescriptionAs a Manager of Application Development for HCB (Health Care Business) Data Products Organization, you will be a hands-on technical lead designing, developing, implementing and managing data-centric products for various business units. You will be joining an organization specialized in building consumer focused data products and believes that well developed and engineered processes will lead to great product outcome and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will have strong ETL, Database and Datawarehouse skills, aspirations for modernizing technologies, passion for dealing with large and complex data and effective communication skills. Responsibilities Commits and delivers work on time and on budget, ensuring the deliverables are simple, cost-effective and are of highest quality. Leads, directs and coordinates work other team members; holds self and team accountable for delivering results. Develops and maintains large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data that helps address reporting needs. Understands the systems and the functionalities, drives impact analysis and estimation for new scope. Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization. Analyzes current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions. Experiments with available tools and advices on new tools in order to determine optimal solution for business problems. Maintains system artifacts including Designs, Security and Access Groups, Disaster Recovery Plans etc. Partners with Production Support team to solve production issues and ensures that consumer and business services operate at the highest service levels established for the applications.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 6+ years of professional experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting IT systems. 3+ years of experience developing solutions using ETL tools like Datastage, Ab Initio or Informatica 3+ years of strong experience working with databases like DB2, Netezza, SQL Server, Hadoop 1+ years of programming experience with at least one backend language, such as Python, Scala, C++COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated. Experience developing and productionizing large data pipelines; strong parallel programming, Unix/Linux scripting skills. Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure and cloud-based services. Working experience in GCP platform would be a plus. Hands-on experience operating in Hadoop Eco-system would be a plus. Delivery experience in Agile Methodologies like SAFe.
