Consultant I

As a Cerner Oracle Consultant, you will consult with clients on core service line workflows, including current state and future state, and work with client to map out stop-start-continue processes to determine how the system will be designed and tested. You will identify gaps and resolve outstanding design questions, plan and facilitate client meetings and key events to ensure decisions are made, project progress milestones are met, and client goals are achieved. You will coach clients on data collection and system design requirements and analyze to determine optimal solution build and implementation. You will test and perform client-specific configuration in client environments in accordance with client requirements, identify, resolve and report solution status, risks, and issues to client and project leadership, provide on-site conversion troubleshooting support and issue resolution, identify inefficiencies and areas with opportunities for improvement with KPIs, and propose changes to client. You will cultivate client relationships to achieve business objectives.This opening is with the Revenue Cycle Consulting Team.What Is Transaction Services? In order to perform basic functions, software billing systems demand connectivity to clearinghouses, print partners, telecommunications and other software vendors. These vendor-to-vendor pairings allow care providers the ability to send patient appointment reminders, print and mail patient statements, process POS credit card transactions, send claims, receive remittances or verify a patient''s coverage with a payer for example. Our solution is a conduit to these systems. With Whom Do We Partner?Transaction Services Consulting first partners closely with PFS and HIT personnel to obtain an understanding of business needs and required integration with the billing system''s database. At the time these needs are understood, we begin working with the following partners to configure our API and flat file integrations: USPS, Experian, Intrado, RevSpring, TSYS, AxiaMed, Change Healthcare, HDX, eSolutions and TriZetto. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of our partners. What Do We Do and What Skills Make Someone a Success on Our Team?As a consultant you will be responsible for facilitating and managing a high volume of shorter to moderate duration projects. This includes leading weekly design and data collection calls, collaborating with IT and PFS counterparts, liaising with vendors and communicating updates to project management. Projects may span (on average) between one and four months. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote.
