In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a branch of genetics that focuses on the study of the structure, function, and behavior of human chromosomes. Other techniques include molecular cytogenetics such as fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). Both applications aid in the study, diagnosis, classification, or treatment of acquired genetic diseases.
