We Are HiringAscension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring for an experienced Director-Foundation Development Working Schedule: Monday-Friday, regular business hours. Hybrid: May be required to work 3-4 days onsite and 1-2 days remote 5 years experience in fundraising or sustained giving preferred No direct reports Ability to cultivate and manage relationships Bachelors degree preferred Ability to collaborate with management on identification of fundraising goals and assist in developing plans for capital and major fundraising initiatives/campaigns. Ability to ensure donors accomplish their philanthropic goals and ambitions through a relationship with our organization Experience in securing major gifts at the $10,000 level and up with an agreed upon annual goal. Ability to manage and track your moves in our donor database, outlining your steps to qualify, cultivate, and invite support from donors and prospects. Understanding of building and managing a portfolio of prospective donors and grateful patients Ability to create and implement moves management plans Able to assist with annual giving initiatives and communications Ability to make direct, face-to-face philanthropic invitations, and assist the board and other staff with their solicitation (e.g. provide portfolio development support, strategic counsel, and help with donor communications) Acknowledge major donors through public and private recognition as agreed upon with the donor Perform other duties as assigned What You Will DoDirect the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for fundraising activities.Collaborate with executive management on identification of fundraising goals.Develop and implement plan for capital and major fundraising initiatives.Prepare communication including the design, writing and printing of brochures, newsletters, donor communications and annual reports.Implement marketing strategies that will create a climate conducive to major giving, and increase the number of major planned gifts, and estate commitments.Prepare or assist with budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.Coordinate and direct internal/external audit.What You Will NeedEducation:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate''s degree, or Bachelor''s degree required.Master''s degree preferred.Work Experience:5 years of experience required.10 years of experience preferred.2 years of leadership or management experience required.5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional PreferencesNo additional preferences.Why Join Our TeamServing the greater Baltimore area, Ascension Saint Agnes is recognized as an employer that provides an open, highly collaborative work environment where our workforce reflects the diversity of those we serve.
