Description Job Description:Leidos has a career opening for a Systems Administrator on the Sustainment for Analysis Services (SAS) contract located in Gaithersburg, MD. The program provides sustainment and deployment support for multiple Mission-Critical exploitation capabilities. Each system has its own specific requirements and infrastructure. We are seeking a technical, self-motivated System Administrator, who is versatile and flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities of the customer. The candidate will be subject to a government security clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Primary Responsibilities:Provide support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud migration on multiple security domains.Coordinate maintenance and deployment downtimes.Perform patching and system deployments.Support Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in obtaining Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 security accreditation.Seek software approvals, and document installation procedures for supported systems.Provide support for: Configuration Management (CM) tools, including JIRA, and ConfluenceCertificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) on Linux and Windows systemsLarge collection of data organized for rapid search and retrieval (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)Updates to Customer/User InterfaceBasic Qualifications:Current TS/SCI active TS/SCI with PolygraphSecurity + certification or must be able to obtain within 6 months.Bachelor''s degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Master''s with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.Experience working as a System Administrator for Linux and Windows systems.Basic knowledge/experience with Windows 10 and/or 11 workstations, and/or Windows Server 2016 and/or 2019 systemsExperience working with Microsoft System Administration including lodging scripting, Group Policy objects (GPO''s) and Windows servers roles including DHCP, DNS and active directory.Experience with Python, and the package installer Pip.Knowledge of essentials for IT security and security administration.Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:AWS Certification or experience with cloud computing web services providing distributed computing processing capacity and software tools via AWS server farms.Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications.Experience with Windows system administration to include:Backup/restorePatchingImage ImplementationWindows Server Update Services (WSUS)Active Directory + Domain Name System (DNS)User account managementExperience with RedHat Linux to include:System backup/restoreRedHat Package Manager (RPM) installation/managementUser account managementSystem image implementationExperience with SolarisExperience with Network-Attached Storage (NAS) to include NetApp filersExperience with McAfee to include:DAT file implementationePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) serversExperience with Citrix workstation images, and management serversExperience with SplunkExperience with VMware and VcenterExperience addressing enterprise auditing requirements.Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
