Job Req : 668910Job Description: Business Analyst, Performance and AttributionJob Type: Direct HireLocation: Hybrid in Cherry Creek. Work in the office 2-3 days per week and home the rest. Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. This range is estimated for this role. Key Responsibilities: My client is undergoing a major transformation of the global technology platform including a strategic move of systems and data into the Cloud.You will collaborate with the business to define and implement change to enhance & stabilize existing systems and build out new systems & processes, covering Performance Measurement & Attribution. You will:Work with the business stakeholders, product architect, delivery manager, product owner, scrum master, data architects and developers to define solutions and implement changeTake responsibility for changes assigned to you, including facilitating the required meetings, obtaining sign-off of acceptance criteria and managing to implementationCapture business requirements and translate into technical requirements and solution designConduct data sourcing from the data platform to support detailed analysisProduce quality test plans and lead or support system and user testing either as an individual or in conjunction with other teamsLiaise with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issuesOversee risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner or Delivery ManagerCarry out additional duties as assigned.Qualifications: Knowledge of performance measurement, attribution and IT systems preferredA strong background in the financial industry preferred, coupled with experience of the technologies used to support this function.Experience of leading the analysis process through the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements; writing user stories, acceptance criteria & test cases; presenting demos to the business; implementation & sign off.Proven experience of the typical infrastructure components and data technologies required to support the business.A delivery focused approach and attitude, and strength in managing and leading change.A strong, analytical mind and are comfortable working on complex problems both on strategic and tactical level.SQL skills at a level to support trouble-shooting data issues are essentialAgile experience (highly favorable)Understanding of Project Management methodologies (highly favorable)Competencies required: In addition to putting clients first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include:A strong teammate - you take a collegiate approach to work, circulating important information and contributing to team discussion.A problem solver - analyzing and understanding complex issues and problems and able to identify practical and pragmatic solutions.Self-motivating and enthusiastic - a completer-finisher able to work on their own initiative with a focus on delivery.A skilled communicator - providing documents that are clear, precise and comprehensible and presented in a clear and compelling mannerEffective with your time management - planning personal and team workload effectively, setting realistic and achievable targets and delivering to those targets.Able to take ownership - taking responsibility for project issues and ensuring delivery Diane DouglasSenior Technical RecruiterAbout Ascent: The Ascent Services Group (ASG) is a nationally recognized technology staffing and consulting firm whose fundamental business is providing staffing services to Small, Medium, and Large Enterprise clients in our core market verticals: Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology and Life Sciences.
