Job DescriptionThis role is a remote position, anywhere in the countryYou'll work on the commercial product team, working on new/innovative products. Do you have strong analytical skills and/or the desire to lead a team? Here is a great opportunity; People Management:- Help train peer/junior colleagues- Ensure learnings are shared within team (set-up trainings etc.)- Support training of business partners product/actuarial concepts- Utilize more junior colleagues efficiently to support workStrategy Support:- Partner throughout enterprise to understand how products are evaluated by all partners- Partner with UW and service pricing to ensure alignment on new product development- Support leadership by participating in strategy workgroups (Win Rooms, Reset to Rise, etc.)New Product Development:- Engage on development of new products & aligning on strategies- Develop models that will analyze new products impact on medical/rx claims- Support development of ROIs if appropriate- Review business cases for reasonability- Review work of junior team members to ensure accuracyProduct Analytics:- Opine on & support creation of product performance metrics- Utilize exhibits/tools to create recommended actions for product partners- Utilize influencing skills to make sure needed actions are carried outPortfolio Pricing:- Support Local Market Product to develop sound strategy on portfolios- Facilitate work between central actuarial & our team to complete deliverables- Identify new best practices to the process to improve turnaround time and accuracy#AetnaActuaryPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
