For more information, please visit: ResponsibilitiesGuidehouse is seeking a Senior Designer (UI) to create and execute innovative solutions that help solve complex problems. They have demonstrated expertise in the principles of UI design, are detail-oriented, strategic in their approach and passionate about delivering creative and relevant work for our clients. As a Senior Designer, they will collaborate with ux designers, developers, product managers and clients to design intuitive user interfaces, build robust design systems and assist with user research. Responsibilities: Develop consistent, intuitive design solutions Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to client branding requirements Assist with user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor UI designs and emerging technologies Conduct, observe and analyze usability testing sessions Work with digital analytics team to assess the impact of all UI design and usability changes Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented as intended QualificationsQualifications 5+ years of experience Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques Ability to lead and direct design thinking activities for a wide range of products Expert knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI Strong team collaboration skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate designs to developers and key stakeholders Comfortable in presenting work to executives and large groups Experience with Figma, Sketch, Invision, Miro and Adobe CC Ability to perform in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment under minimal supervision Proven experience mentoring other UI designers Demonstrates fluency in accessible design, atomic design and 508 compliances Ability to provide oversight on a mission critical enterprise-wide application Ability to plan and manage UX workshops Experience in agile and USWDS (US Web Design System) preferredWorking knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript, a plus Willingness to work on federal government and commercial projects Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor''s degree in Design (interaction, graphic, visual communications) or equivalent professional experience US Citizenship is contractually required for this role Travel: May be up to 50% (once COVID restrictions lift) Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.Due to our contractual requirements and federal orders, including an Executive Order from the White House and an emergency regulation from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the position for which you are applying requires that you provide proof of your vaccination status.
