A typical day will include:POSITION OBJECTIVES:Serve as a technical leader with deep subject-matter expertise, driving project team progression and development of technical capabilitiesDrive the development, implementation, and maintenance of Regulatory Information Management (RIM) systems for the nonclinical organization and provide strategic technical oversight to department systems strategy planning.Enhance and simplify the nonclinical documentation''s life cycle management by harmonizing and streamlining Takeda''s Regulatory Information Management (RIM) systems and tracking systems used for the compilation, review, and storage of the nonclinical documentation including defining requirements and timelinesWork with leadership to support the PTS/nonclinical data and NRWS innovation initiatives as needed.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Represent the nonclinical organization in the merger of Takeda''s legacy regulatory electronic document management systems, EDMS associated with the documentation life cycle management and ensures systems'' alignment with the applicable internal business processesLead the harmonization of the multiple nonclinical EDMS systems (e.g., Mediva, ShEDS & StarDoc) and integration of tracking toolsUtilize relevant information, technology and resources, contributing to lead a seamless implementation of new RIM, tracking, and other supporting systems, including the development of change management plan.Develop training material for the nonclinical organization in collaboration with NRWS Ops.Ensure systems'' alignment with the applicable internal business processes at all timesSupport PTS/ Nonclinical data initiativeManage the NRWS Systems staffEDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in information technology, relational database management, systems administration, or related scientific discipline is preferred.Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience with document management systems, information management systems, or other related information technologies, standards, and related processes; experience with Veeva Vault RIM is preferredTakeda U.S. Vaccine Requirement:Absent an approved religious or medical reason, all US office-based and lab-based Takeda employees who work fully on-site or in a hybrid model (as determined by Takeda) must be fully vaccinated to work at a Takeda site or to engage with Takeda colleagues or anyone else on behalf of Takeda.
