Lab Manager - Full Time Connected Health Care is actively recruiting for a full time, Laboratory Manager for one of our clients near Holdrege, NE. The Laboratory Manager is a valuable member of a Leadership Team and a collaborative clinical partner with Physicians, clinical and support staff working to provide optimal care experiences for patients and their families. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leader focused on delivering positive patient care outcomes and ensuring the success of the Laboratory team.See below for additional information on the role:Lab Manager Opportunity:Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the clinical laboratory, including: department staffing; quality control of lab testing, process and procedures; proficiency programs; materials management; trouble shooting/problem solving, and delivery of safe, quality patient care through coordination of interdepartmental services and information flowResponsible for: departmental budget management including: annual charge master review; assuring governmental regulatory compliance, development and implementation of new services/processes, maintenance and/or development of information systemsProvides directional support/guidance by assisting lab employees with operational functions within their specific lab section activityKnowledge of clinical laboratory function/operation and access to resources both administrative and organizational requiredResponsible for team member engagement and retention through practices that promote communications, recognition, teamwork, and effective employee relations practicesEnsure training and development of team members by identifying training needs and establishing initiatives to meet company/individual objectivesResponsible for holding team members to the highest integrity and professionalism standards Resolve service and care issue, including patient inquiresQualifications:Minimum Bachelor''s Degree in Medical Technology or Approved ScienceMust have successfully passed a certification examination for a Medical Technologist from an accredited certifying agency, such as the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, or equivalentMust meet the requirements of a Technical Supervisor as defined by C.L.I.A. regulationsMust have at least 2 years of experience in lab managementIf you are interested in hearing more about this great opportunity, please contact:Meredith Lusby - Healthcare Recruiter(512) - 887 - 3552[Click Here to Email Your Resumé]CHNOR
