Ophthalmic Technician

Our client, a primary eye healthcare provider, is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr Position Overview: The Ophthalmic Technician will support the ophthalmologists in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position involves direct patient care, clinical tasks, and administrative responsibilities. PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided. The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for traveling to their Princeton, NJ location. Responsibilities of the Ophthalmic Technician: Obtain/document patient history Greet/escort patients to the exam room Perform patients'' vision tests Obtain all appropriate consent forms Room set up for the physician and clean up following procedures Stocking supplies Enter information into EMR systems Review and file medical charts Assist the physician with miscellaneous projects/tasks Qualifications of the Ophthalmic Technician: Clinical experience within Ophthalmology is preferred COA or COT certification is preferred Progressive experience working in a medical environment, in a clinical capacity Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required Bachelor''s degree preferred Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401k As a woman-owned firm, we value diversity.
