Description Job Description:The AMO Division of the Airborne Solutions Organization has an immediate opening in our Springfield, VA location. This position will be Cloud Engineer to assist with image processing and mensuration, algorithm development, deep learning, cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, R or Java . The position is full-time at NCE and requires a TS/SCI (with poly).Primary ResponsibilitiesAs a Cloud Engineer you willExperience designing and carrying out data science or analytic experiments (e.g., formulating strong hypotheses, rigorously keeping track of input data and result sets, sensemaking, formulating conclusions that are both justifiable and meaningful)Be responsible for software coding, whether in either a software engineering or data science contextsWorking with geospatial data formats and representation schemesBasic QualificationsBachelor''s degree and twelve (12) years relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Active TS/SCI (with Poly)Preferred QualificationsExperience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams"Cross-training" or generalization between different technical tracks/practices such as data science, math modeling, backend software development, web development, etc.Knowledge of agency or intelligence community (IC) and IT infrastructuresPossession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skillsPossession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managersPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsPay Range:Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00
