In order to perform your tasks you will utilize knowledge of electrical installation, electrical code, electronics (troubleshooting and proper installation), direct digital controls, airflow, hydronics, and building control techniques. Coordinates with team members and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, anticipating issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work. Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions. Complete all Safety Training and inspections as directed, wear proper PPE for task working on, notify proper personnel anytime unsafe environment and/or work is noticed. Participate in Technical Turnovers to insure you are provided necessary project information to complete the project successfully. Review all documentation with Engineering Specialist and Project Manager and ensure installation expectations are set/followed. Responsible for time management of assigned tasks and deadlines. Including providing enough notice to the project team when a deadline will not be met. Communicate daily the project status, challenges, concerns, and subcontractor installation quality to Project Manager proactively. Provide completed As Built Control Drawings and plans (Including Communication Link Pull Order) to Engineering Specialist/Project Manager for project closeout Be self-sufficient by proactively using all tools at your disposal including. Understand you are not alone and reach out to Project Team and Technical Support when you can''t solve a problem on your own in a timely fashion.Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical/Controls installation or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems Control installation experience with LON, BacNet, Modbus, or PLCs a plus Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad). Must possess a valid driver''s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. Certification Preferred (e.g. Inside Electrical Journeyman, etc). This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage). This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
