RN, Womens Float Pool

Position DescriptionThe Women''s Float Pool Registered Nurse manages the care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the nursing division, including the Northside Nursing Collaborative Care Model. The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Women''s Float Pool Registered Nurse positions are for those nurses that have reached a specific level of nursing experience to possess the knowledge, skills, competencies and critical thinking abilities to work in specialty areas. The Women''s Float Pool RNs will be assigned to work in those areas where competencies have been verified and specific unit requirements met. The Women''s Float Pool RN is required to work in multiple Women''s Health inpatient care settings.Position Requirements• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time Labor & Delivery, High-Risk Perinatal or Mother Baby experience as an RN post-orientation or post-residency training.• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.• Be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) before working on the unit• Demonstrate proficiency in skills applicable to Women''s ServicesLicense/Certification Requirements: YesWork Hours: 7p-7aWeekend Requirements: YesOn-Call Requirements: No
