Job DescriptionPosition Summary :Seeking qualified candidates across the country for this Lead Director role focused on starsThis role is responsible for leading Stars for the AZ and Mountain and is aligned to the West Territory of the United States. This role will have responsibility in maintaining, or improving, overall Star Ratings to achieve 4+ Stars for all contracts in multiple states by partnering closely with leadership from our key matrix partners from Network Operations, Sales, Service Operations, Marketing, pharmacy, and the enterprise Stars team. The role drives, in collaboration with the National Stars team, quality improvement activities within the region for HEDIS® measures and hybrid data collection, CAHPS and HOS improvement, Pharmacy / Part D, Administrative measures, general Stars education and related activities, as well as other activities as assigned. This position requires someone who can think strategically. This position reports to the AZ and Mountain Chief Medicare Officer.Major Duties- Strategic partner to regional and national teams. Build excellent relationships with market leaders and network operations leaders within this region, attend local market meetings where Stars is under discussion and support strategic direction and consultation services.- Partner in the development of market or region specific strategies that will lead to quality improvements and increased Star ratings.- Lead the development and execution of programs that drive Star rating improvements to achieve the goal of 4+ Stars in all AZ and Mountain plans.- Oversee the identification, development and implementation of Stars measure improvement activities within the region to drive improvement in patient care, quality of care and health outcomes.- Partner with the HEDIS® clinical operations team to improve the health outcomes of our membership through innovative initiatives that drive rate improvement, improved data collection and incremental process improvements.- Implement projects and initiatives designed to impact Stars rates, which will include leading activities with matrixed partners.- Enhance our continuous quality improvement structure, through work on quality-related project teams, identifying improvements to workflows, and through the identification of operational efficiencies and best practices.- Work collaboratively with Stars and Risk Adjustment leadership and Stars strategy teams to identify best practices within the region, and scale them over the enterprise .Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 221,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 3+ years of CMS Stars, clinical quality, or healthcare quality improvement leadership experience required, with - Must be a strong public speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong time management, project management, organizational, research, analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), including experience running web based meetings.- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others- Must be able to manage ambiguity and work in fast paced environment- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills- High level of confidence and interpersonal savvyCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
