The primary responsibility of the Pharmacist is to ensure accuracy when performing all duties associated with the verification of prescriptions and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, provide customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, and provide leadership and guidance to supporting staff. Additionally you will have the ability to: - Direct supportive personnel such as Pharmacy Technicians and Operations Assistants in their daily activities as it relates to managing and providing these services. - Assuring positive patient therapeutic outcomes by reviewing drug therapy and accuracy, including appropriate coordination with other health care professionals. - Maximizing resources available to you to provide cost-effective workflow and medication management as well as distributive functions.
