Employer Info:Our client is a premier MILL services provider with special expertise in Slag Processing Scrap Yards, Transportation (Logistics), Packaging Services and other sectors involving complex production processes.Job Summary:We are looking for an individual to join our client''s team as a Material Handler. You will perform a variety of duties to include equipment operations, transporting materials, equipment inspections and other assigned duties.Job Description:• Perform on-site heavy equipment operations which involves positioning and moving front loaders, haul trucks, and skid loaders• Loading, extracting and transporting materials including molten steel• Handling components, modules and systems of heavy equipment• Converting heavy equipment with various mobile accessories• Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulationsPerform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment• Maintain and protect all property• Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs• Provide outstanding customer service operations• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operationsSKILLS REQUIRED:• Demonstrated experience in operating front loaders, haul trucks, skid loaders, etc.• Ability and willingness to operate trucks and varoius transportation equipment• Demonstrated experienced as an operator• Able to lift up to 40lbs• Experience with and knowledge of technical equipment and machinery• Results orientated/Strong work ethic• Must work flexible hours and shift work• Reliability, enthusiasm, teamwork• Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to get along with diverse personalities• Must possess Valid Driver''s LicenseAdditional Information:• Sign-On bonus after 60 days• Company Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance• Opportunity for advancementEducation / Training / Certifications:• High School Diploma or GED• Vocational training as heavy equipment operator
