ICF seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the automation and deployment needs of highly scalable healthcare systems that directly support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) You will be a part of the team to drive the strict security protocols that are necessary to protect health data. You will work closely with Agile development teams to implement automation solutions using technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ECS, and Terraform to automatically build, test, integrate, and deploy complex, modern systems. You will leverage the full power of the cloud to configure highly resilient and scalable applications that support zero downtime. The team uses integrated human-centered design and quality assurance measures to implement highly modern, usable interfaces. Key Responsibilities:Configure and maintain resources on AWSMaintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or AnsibleMaintain DockerfilesDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelinesDeploy services to ECS or KubernetesComplete on-time production deployments using Jenkins and GitHub ActionsManage security groups and access controlsResponsible for securely storing information such as passwords and tokensUse ticket management system such as Jira and Confluence to manage work prioritiesWork closely with developers on the team to debug web app issuesApply networking knowledge to debug upstream issues Basic Qualifications:BS with 5+ years of relevant technical experienceHighly proficient in Terraform including the ability to write modules from scratchHands-on experience with configuring and maintaining resources on AWSHands-on experience using DockerExperience with scripting languages such as groovy, bash, and/or pythonExperience and solid understanding to deploy and maintain container orchestration platforms such as ECS or KubernetesExperience with production deployments using JenkinsExperience with Linux and administrationDemonstrated experience working on Agile development projectsMust live in the United States and be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:MS in Computer Science and 3+ years of technical experienceKnowledge of networking fundamentalsExperience with and a strong understanding of secret management along with the practice of good security hygieneExpertise with cloud security, understand the principle of least privilegeExperience securing S3 buckets and IAM configurationsUnderstanding of security groups and access controlsExperience with Atlassian tooling such as Jira and ConfluenceExperience working in the healthcare industryFederal Government contracting work experience Professional Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to clearly articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleaguesAbility to understand project requirements and be innovative in finding solutions in highly regulated government environments.Flexibility and the ability to accept a change in priorities as necessaryDemonstrated time management skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
