Lead Nurse Practitioner (Stevens Point, WI)

There is a $7,500 bonus for this opening - $3,750 at start and $3,750 at 6 months tenure!The Lead APP at DispatchHealth will assist the National Director of APPs in the recruitment, training, scheduling and day-to-day management of Steven''s Point, WI based APPs. This position will work closely with the Medical Director to manage APPs including participation in evaluations and annual reviews using standard company metrics.Recruitment/HiringMarket preparation: With Market Director/Operations team, prepare for expansionTry to anticipate staffing needs/FTE requirements with expansion/car additionsMatching provider staffing to increased volumes and desired patient requests (shift mapping)Advertising, managing job boards as needed in conjunction with Director of Provider AcquisitionVetting CVsSetting up and conducting interviews/ride alongsNegotiating salaries, hiring. Coordination with HR for new hiresTrainingScheduling new provider on-boarding/training (EMR, Lab, etc)Orientation: conducting in office training and arranging clinical orientation/shiftsSkills reviewEvaluating readiness for solo clinical practiceProviding support for initial clinical shiftsScheduling/ClinicalMonthly provider schedulingPayroll/Hours worked updates on HumanityDeveloping agenda and running monthly Provider/EMT meetingsAttending Lead APP meetings monthlyDHMT supervision (includes hiring/training)Lab/QC oversight in conjunction with Medical DirectorAthena:Clinical Inbox managementAthena templates updates: macros, procedure, dot phrases and template buildingTraining for Athena - how to use macros/templates/encounter plans, increasing efficiencies in AthenaOptimizationMetric review/BI toolRide alongs/Resource Rides with APPsRefine and perfect provider work-flowsProvider evaluations, annual reviewsImproving efficiencies based on KPIsOptimize coding/billing.
