We invite and encourage anyone who wants to impact the community to apply.What are the details?The IT Coordinator role is a full-time position that supports the user experience and IT support of the YMCA of Austin team. Reporting directly to the IT and Data Manager, the IT Coordinator will support staff by acting as the onsite and remote support go-to for our Help Desk services. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for asset management (laptop provisioning, break-fix support, inventory, and tagging) as well as responding to Team Member issues and needs for onsite and remote support. This role will be engaged in the day-to-day of IT operations, Office365 management (InTune), and IT operations. The IT Coordinator would be required to spot reoccurring technical issues and deploy solutions to address root problems and act as a go-to support person for our internal staff. Up to 48 days of PTO over vacation, holidays, personal, and sick leave Free Household Membership to facilities operated by the YMCA of Austin (worth $1,000 annually) 12% Employer-Funded Retirement Plan upon meeting eligibility Learning and development workshops and trainings Career advancement opportunities How you will contribute to our Purpose:Asset Management (50%)Assist with the management of local technology in order to increase reliability, security, interoperability, effectiveness of customer work while reducing costs.Understand and effectively discuss services and software provided by IT Assist in preparing and deploying laptops for staff, including configuration and imaging of laptopsAssist with hardware and software asset tracking and inventory managementSupport process of asset mapping and tagging, inventory, and managementCoordinate the repair and maintenance of office printers and computing equipment with outside vendorsCoordinate the repair and maintenance of laptops, desktops, or other IT assetsAssist with the documentation and updating technology-related instructions/procedures/knowledge articles as requiredTeam-Member Support (40%)Assist with on-site technical support at special events, including, but not limited to staff meetings Communicate frequently with end-users in regard to the status of their issueAssist with general office projects as necessaryRespond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-upsDeliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internallyIndependently investigate and implement solutions to technical issuesSystems (10%)Support a variety of operating systems and applicationsTroubleshoot video conference and telecommunications systemFoundational knowledge in WAP (wireless application protocol)Install and configure operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applicationsOther duties as assignedWhat you bring to the Purpose:You possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work strategically in a roll up your sleeves culture.
