The Conversion Specialist has the primary responsibility of analyzing warehouse inventory processes, documenting current state and future state gaps, and guiding the Warehouse team regarding process definition and system configuration; customer set-up, billing configuration, etc.The Conversion Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT resources in support of data validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure a successful, quality WMS conversion. This is a new role and the specific responsibilities will be further defined in collaboration with the WMS Conversion Team.As a company, Lineage Logistics leverages state-of-the-art technology to meet our customer''s needs, assist in our international growth, and create an infrastructure that enables Lineage to lead the industry.As the ideal candidate for this position, you will exhibit the technical expertise, business acumen and flexibility required to successfully work with all levels of Lineage''s organization.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Participate in Project kick off and RACI identificationInterview cross functional teams to gather information related to the business discoveryAs part of the WMS Conversion team, contribute to the documentation of gap analysis related to business processes and overall system conversion activitiesAnalyze existing and future state warehouse business processes, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and flows of dataPartner with subject matter experts to validate associated system requirements and solutionsPrimary owner of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities (requirements validation, systems configuration, data validation, issue identification and resolution)Communicate status and obstacles to Project ManagerSupport ongoing user feedback process and review of user support issues pre and post go-liveCollaborate within a diverse team of talent and personalities to achieve a successful WMS conversionRequirements:5+ years of experience with warehouse management systems and associated components (RF, Voice, Labor)Solid understanding of cold storage administration including Billing, Product Master, Scheduling, and Order ManagementExperience with warehouse operational processes, inventory management and reconciliationAbility to identify and communicate gaps between legacy and future WMSGeneral understanding of customer integration points such as EDI, Customer Portal, special interfaces & reporting.Project related Travel requiredCompetencies:Business Acumen (Analyzing Information, Demonstrates Global Perspective, Making Decisions, Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking, Using Sound Judgment)Conviction (Adapting to Change, Resolving Conflicts, Showing Creativity)Personal Integrity (Behaving with Integrity, Sensitivity to Others)Results Driven (Prioritizing, Taking Initiative, Taking Ownership)Education and/or Experience:Current level 4 MRS access and associated system expertisePreferred Skills:Previous experience with system conversion projectsSupply Chain or Logistics industry experience strongly preferredExperience with multiple WMSLLPRWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
