Summary: This role includes developing software engineering products and modeling governance from Preliminary Design phase to a Critical Design Review and beyond. This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Essential Job Functions: Will be responsible for developing the CSSAM and Unified Modeling Language (UML) governance and guidance to a large, distributed software team developing the software design and capabilities for the GBSD program. Will be a point of contact (POC) to the US Air Force (USAF) Software Architecture Office (SAO) and supporting organizations for the development activities for the CSSAM. Role involves collaboration and responsibility across multiple organizations to ensure the CSSAM Software Architecture & Design products successfully meet key program milestone objectives, software deliverables, and the statement of work. Role involves working with various certification authorities (e.g. Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity, Safety) to ensure the CSSAM Software Architecture & Design products support key program certification reviews. Will develop software tools & scripts for automating software model validation and synchronization across multiple authoritative sources of truth (ASoT) artifacts. Will be responsible for developing tools for validating CSSAM Software Architecture & Design products meet CSSAM model governance rules and properly flow-down from systems engineering products to the software design and implementation. Will have the opportunity of working in a team in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. Necessary Skills & Knowledge: Experience with development of software automation capabilities. Proven ability to interface to customer representatives Minimum Qualifications: Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program. Bachelor''s degree in an engineering or related technical field and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience with or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree ; 3 Years with Masters. Preferred Qualifications: Hands on software engineering, design, and development experience. Demonstrated experience with MBE having implemented software architecture and design definition using such tools as MagicDraw (Cameo Enterprise Architect), IBM Rhapsody, etc. Back (Share
