They are searching for a Director with previous management experience, who has the ability to grow with their organization and be a key member of their team.See below for additional information on the opportunity:Duties and Responsibilities:Assigns, directs, and schedules staff and oversees performance of tests in fields of microbiology, chemistry, histology, hematology, and serology.Evaluates and modifies department''s policies and procedures.Establishes standards, normal values, and methods of control for each laboratory test performed.Plans, designs, and directs installation of new or improved laboratory techniques.Prepares and administers laboratory budget.Purchases or directs purchase of laboratory equipment and supplies and recommends purchase of capital equipment.Directs maintenance of inventory supply system.Designs and administers quality control program for each section.Directs the proper storage of hazardous materials and the laboratory safety program.Performs specialized and more difficult tests and procedures.Coordinates and conducts education and training programs for medical technology students and personnel.Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all units in the LabInterviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Supervises the day to day operation of the Laboratory department and has responsibility for total supervision of the Laboratory Personnel.Education and ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalent4+ years of Management experience in a Clinical lab settingASCP/AMT certification required If you are interested in hearing more about this great opportunity, please contact:Jonah Rader - Senior Executive Recruiter(512) - 337 - 8760[Click Here to Email Your Resumé]CHPRI
