The startup specialises in the global shipping of high-end goods: paintings, sculptures, basically any valuable or bulky merchandise.We''ve developed our own proprietary algorithm to offer competitive real-time shipping quotes and an end-to-end logistics service to the art market. Our mission is to become a tech-driven company in a traditional industry, and therefore make the shipping of bulky and valuable items as easy as possible by providing an online and seamless experience.We currently serve a wide range of customers from art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms to interior designers.With 200+ colleagues scattered across Paris & London and now New York as well, Convelio has a strong start-up & international culture. We thrive in solving complex logistics issues for our clients, enabling both sellers and buyers in the art market. We are backed by proven technology, prominent VC''s, and boast a global network and the resources (€30 million Series B funding in March 2022) to seize the market opportunityWe are looking for a high energy, results-driven, team-oriented Sales Executive to join our rapidly growing Sales team to extend our success in the US. For this Sales Executive role, you will play a crucial part in Convelio''s growth in the US, by helping us acquire and retain new high value clients. Your efforts will have a direct correlation to the revenue and the success of the business in the US. You will manage the entire conversion funnel for a portfolio of prospects and recent clients. This is a fast-paced role that fits engaging, agile salespeople. This position is a full-time job, based in New York, starting immediately.What your team will look like More than 200 people from all over the world. You will work inside our Business Development team and be part of a growing US team of 6. This role will report to our Head of Sales US. Currently, the Business Development Team gathers 40 incredibly talented team members from all around the world, ranging from Partnerships, Growth, Marketing to Sales and Account Management. As a Sales Executive, you will also have the opportunity to grow the business and work on many different types of customer-centric initiatives, from Marketing, Customer Support to Business Intelligence. You will have leeway to create and implement your own new ideas, processes, and projects! What You''ll DoYou will be building and creating your own strategy to build a high value book of new business to drive revenue for the companyYou will meet and exceed your pipeline and revenue quotas from your self-generated portfolio of high value prospects and clients You will generate new high value sales opportunities by being on field and meeting clients in person, visiting galleries, art fairs, events etc. Emphasis on being on field with in-person visits.You will be developing relationships within a luxury market, and engaging with key decision makers and business owners to highlight the best solutions that Convelio can offer themYou will prepare impactful and tailored pitches, approaches, meetings and calls to accelerate acquisition, retention, and revenueYou will have to manage and understand high volume of data to support your business, overcome customer objections and drive resultsYou proactively mitigate churn risk by adopting a long term customer centric approachYou will guide the clients through the sales cycle, ensuring clients are perfectly on boarded to our product and ensure a smooth hand off to an Account ManagerYou will work closely with the various Business Development team members (Account Managers, Partnerships etc) to identify high value opportunities for our clients and the business. You will also work closely with our Operations team to ensure client success.You will update and manage your pipeline and all your sales activities, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce, driving our sales conversion knowledge and efficiency About YouYou know how to pitch, sell and close to luxury clientele. You are able to think strategically and apply business acumen in how you go after new clients, present, craft outreach, drive engagement and revenue.You have a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and are comfortable interacting with a luxury clientele and senior decision makersYou can shift your communication style and content to be tailored towards your audience/clientYou lead by selling solutions to the client, not just the product, and sell with integrity while working in a highly collaborative team environmentYou are not afraid of cold visits or cold calling potential clients to determine their needs and if Convelio is the right business fit for themYou enjoy engaging with people in all mediums, especially face to face, and have no problem coming up to people you''ve never met.You are a hands on, motivated, self-starter who gets stuff done and are able to work independentlyYou are results and target drivenYou are organized, able to multitask and manage your time, large amounts of data and are able to handle a high volume of clients, relationships and projects.3+ year experience in business development, sales, outbound sales, or any other relevant client facing rolesYou are a team player and are excited to be part of a growing team and to share your ideasYou are perfectly fluent in English, any other language is a plusYou are agile and able to thrive in ambiguous, fast paced and dynamic environments, with a bias toward action.
