Lumenance is looking for hard working, experienced Computer Aided Engineers to support Honda R&D. This is a contingent/contract position. In this position, you will be using your skills to complete strength and durability analysis of new passenger vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Construction of high quality FE meshes and models of complete automotive chassis structures - Conduct linear and nonlinear ABAQUS - FE solutions of chassis structures for fatigue and strength evaluation. - Conduct nCode fatigue post-processing to evaluate fatigue life - Data processing of proving ground input loads using nCode Glyphworks. - Lead research activities to develop new and improve existing prediction methods. - Required to perform test validation and investigation related to FE models and test requirements. - Will be responsible for development of appropriate countermeasure plans and working closely with design departments to implement. - Technical reporting and presentations (in English) are required for the above activities in a group setting Requirements - BS Degree in ME/AERO - Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience as CAE analyst using required solver software (nCode) - Minimum of 5 years of experience using pre-prcessor / post-processor tools (Hyperworks) for complex vehicle system level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis - Related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience - Must be authorized currently to work in the US or a citizen of Canada. Alternatively, must be a citizen of Mexico with a valid, existing US B1/B2 or other visa - Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in an English speaking technical environment Benefits - Overtime pay (1x base rate) - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Health, Dental, Vision Insurance
