Emergency Department Manager - RNStarting Pay is $53/hr and is negotiable based on experienceSign-on Bonus! Connected Health Care has been engaged by a premier hospital near Eureka, CA to recruit a full time Emergency Department to join their nursing team! This state-of-the-art, community-based hospital is one of the most respected healthcare providers in the state and places a huge emphasis on their employee''s success and career trajectory. The Emergency Department Manager reports directly to the CNO with a multitude of staff members reporting to this position.So, if you are an experienced RN who is looking to lead a compassionate group of nurses striving to provide top-quality service in an incredible area, this position is for you!Essential Duties:Ability to work closely with Emergency Department Medical DirectorAbility to oversee Trauma ProgramAbility to work with community partners (EMS, law enforcement, dispatch, etc.) for overall trauma care improvement Develops department goals in conjunction with establishing/implementing policies and procedures for department operations in alignment with the hospital''s strategic goals.Oversees the day-to-day management of department staff and ensures productivity is maximized.Provides leadership, vision, development, and implementation of long-term nursing goals for Emergency DepartmentEnsures department is in compliance with all regulatory and licensing agencies.Identifies, facilitates, and evaluates patient care practices and department goals according to established standards and quality vestigates and takes appropriate timely action(s) to resolve department, personnel, and customer concerns, complaints, and problems.Responsible for attending all meetings as assigned, i.e.Regional Trauma Advisory Committee, ER/Trauma, Department Head, QA, etc.Responsible for the maintenance of your individual nursing practice, professional growth, and development, as well that of your staff.Provide professional leadership and direction to the patient care team.Qualifications:2 years nursing experience in a ED setting required1+ years of management experience preferred.Ability to manage, organize, provide leadership and direction; and coordinate the workflow of the Emergency Department and staff, to include the RN''s, LPN''s, CNA''s, and Registration personnel.Required License / Certificates / Education:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelors Degree required.Maintains a Valid Registered Nursing License in the State of California.Maintains Current CPR Certification.ACLS, PALS requiredBenefits:Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits401(k) savings planTuition ReimbursementPTO accrual beginning Day 1Ask us more about additional benefits.If you are interested in hearing more about this great opportunity, please contact:Savannah Rohrbacher - Recruiter512 - 605 - 2288savannah[Click Here to Email Your Resumé]CHNOR
