Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes Product Development (PD) is defining the future of commercial aviation and is seeking Product Development Systems Engineering (Level 2) to join our growing Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of defining future new and derivative airplane products and future advanced production systems.You''ll be a part of the team that defines the system level architectures and requirements that establish the foundation for launching new airplane programs. You''ll work to integrate across diverse cross-functional teams, and directly support project leadership, including the SE&I Leader. In this role, you''ll also be a part of our pioneering efforts in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), owning the airplane and production system level models for the projects.This position is located in Everett, WA.Position Responsibilities:Develop, own, and manage all top level Systems Engineering artifacts or baselines for the airplane and production systemDefine and maintain system level models in MBSE environment utilizing CAMEODefine and develop Concept of Operations (ConOps) and Operational ArchitecturesDefine Functional & Logical Architectures and perform Functional AnalysisLead Requirements development and analysis, including Marketing and Customer RequirementsLead and integrate system safety analysis and Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs)Perform trade studies to define architectures and requirementsDevelop Systems Engineering Plans and associated processesBuild and maintain collaborative relationships across various functional and partner organizationsThe position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering or related or related field.Ability to think and operate at a system level, across the airplane and/or production system, and integrate across cross-functional teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor''s Degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Industrial and Systems EngineeringExperience in early stages of developing commercial airplanes and/or production systemsExperience as a Systems Engineer, leading systems engineering, integration or test activitiesExperience in ConOps development, trade studies, and requirements/interface definitionsExperience in requirements development, validation, and verification and use of DOORSExperience in functional analysis, decomposition, and integrationExperience in MBSE modeling and use of CAMEO and SysML languageDetailed knowledge and understanding of the requirements and methods for showing compliance to 14 CFR 25.1309System safety assessment, Fault Hazard Analysis and Single & Multiple Failure AnalysisDevelopment Assurance and experience with ARP4754A and AC20-174Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
