Effectively documents and communicates all work done in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities to be assigned.Join Takeda as a Bio/Analytical Research Associate in our Oligonucleotide Chemistry team, based in San Diego, CA.How you will contribute:ACCOUNTABILITIESWith general supervision, executes quantitative and qualitative bioanalytical assays aimed towards understanding the metabolic fate and localization of oligo-therapeutics and conjugates.Assists with LCMS and stem-loop qPCR workflowsProcesses tissue and other biological materialsUtilizes any assigned literature to increase knowledge base and implement improvements.Will organize time and plan specifics of project related work with limited oversight from manager.Supports instrument operation and maintenancePerforms calculations and basic analysis on experimental results and develops hypothesesSupports lab operations and functions which may include routine instrument maintenance, buffer/stock preparation, as well as inventory managementMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:BS degree in a scientific discipline, or equivalentKnowledge of analytical and bioanalytical methods geared towards oligonucleotides.
